How much space do i need next to my deadbolt to install the lock?
Do lots of people just put the keypad on the door itself if there is roof stucco next to the door?

The lock is 2.5 inches wide so you would need 1.25 inches each side of the center of the deadbolt

Thanks. That should work. Can someone post a photo of the side that mounts (the side that is not seen after installed) so I see how wide the edges are. Look at the photo I posted and see if you think it will fit on top of my deadbolt. There’s a small amount of room between the deadbolt and the window on my back door
