Did you sign up for the calibration loss test firmware?
@JonathanF … I just saw that the test firmware is available. Question, have you determined or at leas have any idea what causes the calibration problem? I ask because my early access lock never had the problem until recently. From the time I installed the lock on January 10th until maybe 2 weeks ago, I haven’t had the recalibrate message a single time. However, all of a sudden, I’ve gotten the message and had to recalibrate 3 times in the past couple weeks.
The only change I can think of that may be a factor is the past couple weeks is the first since the install that my area has reached temperatures in the 90’s. It was below freezing when I installed it and only got to the upper 80’s until recently. Could the heat and/or humidity be a factor? I realize the lock is on the inside of the door, but the sun directly hits that door a good part of the day.
Also, would the test firmware be good to try in my case since I only recently developed the issue?

- I do not recall signing up for any additional features. I did install the beta version of the Wyze app to address some cam issues, but nothing beyond that…
The lock I’m noticing this on was a replacement lock - the initial one I had seemed to have a hall effect/sensor issue and it was replaced. That’s about all that is different to my knowledge.

No. The battery changed didn’t cause new firmware to come down. Still on 2.1.11.

Your lock firmware is on 2.1.11.0?
Also, what Wyze app version are you using?
I upgraded to 2.1.22.0 also. Was on 2.1.16.0. I had to delete my lock and readd or it kept saying I had to be near my lock. I still don’t have Trash mode… how can I get that ? cj

Just got a request to upgrade my lock to the newest version. It requires me to be next to the lock and since I am not home will do it later.

I kept getting the same “you have to be near the lock” error when trying to upgrade the firmware also, even holding the phone right against the lock. However, I kept trying over and over and for some reason, it upgraded after something like the 5th or 6th try.

My lock just got the firmware notice and I am unable to install it ; keeps saying my phone needs to be near the lock when I am standing directly in front of it. I deleted the cache and restarted my phone to no avail. Any ideas ?
