I received it this afternoon. When you go to the lock page in the app, you’ll see the following when your update is ready.
I got it, too.
I see mine too, I’ll have to wait till I get home from work to install it.
I saw mine today, I updated 2 of the 3 locks, my other lock had battery of 18 percent so it would not allow me to update. I did not see the following:
Added a 24 hour open door status alarm
It did not show anywhere under lock alarms or notification while connected with blue tooth. Where is it hiding? Firmware is sitting 2.1.16 after the update.
Just got my update. It was very quick and took a minute after the update to show the new settings. I did notice it dropped my battery by 2% after the update. Tested trash mode and it worked perfectly. I wish there was a screen like the band that would allow us to click on the firmware version to check for an update. Other than that, everything feels and looks about the same.
Received the update today unfortunately it did not address the auto unlock failures. Another three attempt’s at auto unlock zero success, lock keypad three attempt’s three succeeded! Love the keypad not as nice if hands free auto unlock would work but at least not fumbling for keys.
I got the update today and installed it. It had me recalibrate my lock. My door position would lose calibration and incorrectly register as open forcing me to recalibrate every few weeks. I hope this update addressed that problem.
My Firmware installed just fine.
Now for the question, from the information, what is this one?
Added support for Trash Mode <<<<<
Thank you
Found under your lock settings/auto lock…it allows for a temporary disabling of auto lock so don’t get locked out while doing things like taking out the trash.
Thank you for the heads up.
I currently have 2.1.13.0 and have trash mode.
Anyone know how long it should take for 2.1.16.0 to show up?
Thanks ahead of time.
Well, it was expected before I got back here. Sorry for my delay!
Gwendolyn,
No worries, I talked to Jonathan and it turned out there was a group of Lock firmware S/N that was not uploaded correctly to the OTA server so I never got the update notice. It’s since been fixed and my lock has been updated thankfully.
Hooray! Thank you for letting me know. I appreciate it!
My lock was an early adopter and today is June 27th and my lock is on 2.1.11. Nothing happened when I try to update the firmware on the lock settings. The app doesn’t show the lock in the firmware list either. What do you recommend?
PS Just had to replace the batteries for the first time.
Also submitted a log on this. Didn’t want to post the SN in the post. CBRRider808 mentioned that some of the SN were not loaded into the OTA server so that may be why the update has not showed up.?
I think it’s definitely possible. Were you able to update after replacing the batteries? I’ll ping Jonathan.
@UserCustomerGwen - I’m getting pinged on a new firmware update for my lock. I can’t seem to find any change log information on this update. Are you able to provide a link or update as to what was changed with the 2.1.22.0 release?
must be a rolling update, I keep checking but no update here
Thanks @Ken.S - I’ve received the update notice a day or two ago so I’m a little surprised they didn’t publish the change log before pushing out the update…
With 2.1.16.0 they had the update listed before it was deployed to my knowledge. Not sure why Wyze wouldn’t do the same for this update as well?
I’ll check in on this! Thanks!
