Wyze hub won’t reconnect timed out message

Wyze alarm is programmed to automatically disarm. Today it didnt disable as programmed. Opened my front door and the alarm triggered. The app said its “already disarmed”. I unplugged it to hide the noise. Plugged it back in and now its offline. Support said its a known issue they are working on but told me to factory reset my hub. Now it wont reconnect to the app. Support said its not their problem since my hub is over 1 yr old. Any assistance is appreciated.
