Wyze handheld Vacuum disappointment?

I think there’s some serious quality control issues with the handheld vacuum. There’s a lot of folks who got them and they work great with no issues like myself. Vacuum strength is quite high, battery life is good, and the product works as expected. But there seems to be a not insignificant number of folks where the opposite is true.

Well, I’d say there is more negative than positive if you look at the forum’s. Also, a LOT of people haven’t even received them. This company seems to be throwing anything at the wall and seeing what sticks and I promise 6, 8 months from now there will be a lot of angry customer’s. There’s a reason you see very few companies with such a vast product array today. 1st gen always sucks… Badda bing! Truthfully, many people arent too worried about a $60 electronic device/purchase, they’ll hardly use.
Like a couple commenters, it almost seems as though they bought it as a toy for their kids…
For me, $60 goes far and these will most likely find their way into a garbage/landfill/on the curb in short time.

I for one don’t have an issue with the Hand Held Vacuum, it is powerful in high mode and is able to pickup anything I try to vacuum with it. I don’t have any heating issue at all.

Wonder if everyone realizes that you when the Vacuum is running, you tap the power button to switch it to high suction mode.

Also, has anyone tried the picking up of a bowling ball? If you have post a picture. I personally cannot say it was a trick or not as I have not tested it myself. But I could see it working depending on what the weight was of the bowling ball.

@chadmcemail, There are a number of us who try to help the community and provide potential solutions. We are all in this together and it goes a long way to help each other out in a constructive manner. Some community members have risen to a Maven Level like @Brlepage . I would consider those individuals to be more of a SME (Subject Matter Expert). It always helps when we can get detailed information as to what the issue is, the FW version (if applicable), app version (if applicable), and any ticket numbers you may have opened with Wyze as the Mavens or Moderators may be able to use those.

In any event, I am quite pleased with the hand held Vacuum and have even ordered the cordless vacuum.

I and my wife are both pleased with the handheld vacuum as well as the robot vacuum. Not going to buy their cordless vacuum because I have 2 Dyson v8 vacuums that work great. The Dyson vacs do not get used much because the robot vacuum does a great job keeping the floors clean.

Not at all happy with the wyze handheld vacuum. I don’t believe it is up to Wyze standards. It reminds me of a toy. I remember when they put the original email out making this available to their customers. I believe it should two bowling balls which the vacuum was somehow suctioning. That made me think that this was a really strong powerful handheld vacuum. Nothing could be further from the truth. If I knew then what I know now I would not have bought it.

Disappointed I used it in my Dodge Journey. It doesn’t pick up dog hair, The attachments don’t work well,Should had a motorized where it spins to suck in the dirt or dog hair. Also when empty you have to put your hands or use something to get it to empty because it is so narrow inside it won’t come out on its own. I know about the the power settings and it don’t pick up like it should. Very disappointed wanted to avoid paying at a gas station to vacuum out my Dodge Journey. To me its worthless if I got to spend a lot of time to barely get much up. I wish I never order until I read reviews. I thought it would have more power than this.

I never believed it could pick up one, let alone two balls. That’s just a plunger trick… I think there’s enough of us not happy- + the crazy delay-for Wyze to issue some sort of refund or credit… especially since they haven’t even bothered to respond on their own forum!

Disappointed as well. The attachments easily fall off, the on off low high speed button is difficult to use, battery doesn’t last long, no mount means it just rolls around, no suction power to clean outa cars floor mat, etc. I would think the newest one would be stronger and work better for a car but I’ll never find out unless they send me one for free! Hint hint! I wish I could test these products before they are released I feel like they would offer me a job with my ideas and reviews!!!

I really think Wyze should refund people who have received bad units… It’s really disappointing Wyze hasn’t or doesn’t even bother to respond to complaints. It’s like they got yo money sucka!!! Kick rocks! What a joke

Any issues I have had with their products were handled much faster by a phone call rather than going through the chat bot then a support ticket.

As for my Wyze handheld vacuum, the attachments don’t fall off for me or my wife. High speed is very powerful and gets the crumbs out from the couch easily.

Yup also super dissatisfied, mostly because they waited until the preorders had shipped to release their second vacuum that makes this one a paperweight by comparison. The mini dyson clone would have been way better for my use, but it feels like they deliberately waited to announce it to bait more people into ordering the handheld.

Give me my money back !! Attachments keep falling off! I hate to but I guess I’ll have to use some gorilla tape to keep it on.
