I think it can also affect iphones as at least one user in this thread had the problem there. What I have learned several times now, is that any time the app UI has issues on IOS/IpadOS - delete the app and data and reinstall. I have only ever had to do this with Wyze, no other app I can remember has ever required this to fix an issue.
Thankfully I have only had to do this maybe three times in many years. It is easier to recognize that the problem is the app on a specific device as opposed to the camera or the app in general, if you have several apple device to compare. If things are working on one Apple device and not the other, time to delete the Wyze app on the affected device,
@mitul333 you also might try it if you have an Apple device
That could be. I’ve known some people to use “iPhone” as a generic term, so I wasn’t interpreting those mentions here as actually being specific to those particular devices. Good call.
That’s sometimes the solution for Android, as well. When users were making the transition last year from the v2.50x app to the v3x app and the newer app was acting funky, un-/re-installing seemed to fix it.
I could not see the SD card button on my iPhone but I can see it on my iPad, so recording is happening but I could not get to it on iPhone.
I deleted/reinstalled Wyze app, as recommended, but SD card would still not load (error msg) so I also restarted the cam which then allowed access to SD card to load and show history.
