I bought a new v3 camera that came with an old firmware 4.36.1.12. When I go to update the firmware I get offered firmware version 4.36.3.18 instead of 4.36.9.139.
Any idea why? Is Wyze rolling back the firmware? Have they realized that they have broken something in the latest firmware?
I’m being reluctant to upgrade as the camera has none of the motion blurring associated with 4.36.9.139.
My guess is that it will need to upgrade in several steps.
as @K6CCC indicated, some of the Firmware needs to be updated in succession. I would go through the upgrade process until you get to the latest version
That is interesting, I didn’t have to do that with the other 4 cams. They went straight to .139. I’ll give it a shot and see what happens.
