Hello all,
I am having issues with my wyze doorbell and the notifications. When there is motion or someone rings the doorbell the app sends the notification 1 - 9 minutes after the detection. For instance I’ll leave my house and get the notification of motion detected when I am about 2 blocks away.
I know it’s not just my phone because I have tried it on my wife’s phone as well.
Have you had this problem and if so do you know how to fix it?

This is a problem that has been talked about extensively on Android phones. If you do a search for delayed notifications you will find lots of information however there is not fix at this time. There is a workaround using an ADB shell command on the Android phone at boot however it has to be done every time you reboot and is not something that should have to be done. The issue itself is with Android however some places have found a way around the problem and hopefully Wyze will soon.
One rather annoying workaround, if you have CamPlus, would be to use an Alexa routine based on Wyze person detection.
