Wyze Camera notification sound

I had same issue, THought i had figured out which cameras used which categories. Then later found out the category for camera person detection moved from one category to another. Thats when I followed the suggestion of removing and reinstalling the app. This greatly simplified my categories down to one. I suspect if i enable promotional notifications, an additional category would appear. Just passing on my experience. Again, not sure why Wyze did this change, but there is a work-around.

WaLa…worked…delete and reinstall App. Now I have only ONE category… Not only that I now and able to use 1 of the 3 Wyze App sounds previously not working.

So ever since this new app update, I’ve had a plethora of issues, such as logging into cameras, detection zones, streaming issues, audio playback, and notifications. So I’ve checked and reset my cameras, but I don’t receive event notifications anymore. I get the sales notifications, so part of the app is working. I’m at my wits end. The new update seems great, but it’s not working out.

Any suggestions? Please don’t suggest reinstalling or resetting cameras and yes, the app has permission along with the notifications are turned on for the cameras and their respectful detection settings.

I had similar issues but mine was basically getting NO notifications and push sounds
I eventually deleted the App and reinstalled, logged in and all my issues were fixed.
Your issue is much deeper/wider than mine was so…
