Some of us have the opposite experience and have never been able to get the app-provided sounds to work for Wyze notifications. :man_shrugging:

Since you’re using Android, and presumably your “Camera Shutter” sound is still somewhere on your device, you should be able to do something like this (depending on your Android version):

  1. Long-press the Wyze app icon in your launcher or list of applications.
  2. Tap App info in the pop-up menu.
  3. On the App info screen, tap Notifications.
  4. On the resulting screen, tap whichever WyzeMessage entry is indicating that it’s sending you the most frequent notifications.
  5. On the WyzeMessage screen, tap Sound (it may say “App provided sound” at this point).
  6. Navigate to and select your “Camera Shutter” sound.
  7. Test by generating an event.
