How do I roll my Doorbell V2 back?
Ever since this went public, my doorbell v2 can’t stream on Web View or in the app reliably anymore.
What is the point of a doorbell camera that doesn’t work?
Really looking at dumping all 10 of my wyze cameras and subscription and starting over with something else.
I am with you on this one. My V3 pro has lost the reset service button on the app and delivers videos where the object triggering the event, breaks up making it near impossible to use it for security purposes. This started happening early 2025 and with each successive firmware update it has improved marginally but has not been resolved. The service reset option remains missing. Just in case you are thinking WiFi problems; I ran an Ethernet cable at 1gig with a 200 meg internet link to an AP that was placed right next to it and that made no difference.
Similar story with video events from my Pan Cam V2… but it at least it has the service reset option. I now no longer apply firmware updates to the V2, V3 cameras or the V4 that I have. I wish their technical team was as capable as their marketing team but clearly not. There should also be a button to clear the cache placed in a prominent position on the app as that seems to solve unresponsive cameras most of the time. Better than closing and reopening the app all the time. Maybe this is just an IOS issue?
Back in the day we did not have to subscribe for AI, I could handle the challenges but maybe it is time to look elsewhere.
When you say the Reset Services button is missing–does your screen look something like the following? Do you have a Delete button?
If you don’t it makes me wonder if you may have a font/zoom issue. I see something similar on other apps as I run the system font larger due to aging eyesight.
Thanks, appreciate it but if that was the case then my other cameras would probably not be showing the service reset button either and they all do. My daughter also has V3 Pro cameras and has exactly the same video issues and missing reset services buttons. She has already started transitioning to Tapo cameras.
