I’m going to suggest a caution. I am seeing anomalies after updating my 5 - v4’s.
1st an observation. As I updated each camera I noticed that each one defaulted to 360p. I run all my v4’s at 2.5. I didn’t think to much about it. Clicked it to 2.5 and then it seemed OK.
Then the anomalies started. I am seeing an intermittent connectivity issue. The camera starts loading try 1, goes to try 2, sometimes makes it, sometimes not, if not try 3 and it always makes it by try 3. What is curious is it comes up 2.5. For grins I set all 5 camera to 360p. It did not help. As a data point none of the cams have timed out or given me an error code.
The 5 v4’s have been rock solid so this caught me off guard. I’ve done the usual nuking–cleared both caches, restarted app, restarted phone, even restarted router.
I’ll stay with this for the next hour or so and update my findings. Stay tuned.

Did not experience this. Mine is still set to 2.5K
One of my cameras did not connect, but I have it part of a group called Perimeter. I decided to tap on it and then backed out to the group again and it connected. Been fine since. So out of 6, I did have a slight issue with the initial connection on one camera. but not since.
I will monitor mine throughout the day, but so far, they seem to be working. I am getting Smart notifications and connectivity to all cameras.

I just walked through all my v4 cams one at a time about 4 times. During each pass at least 1 cam took 2 or 3 tries. I then walked through my non v4 cams 4 times. Never hiccuped. Each loaded in 3-4 seconds.
Whats got me scratching my head is even on the 3rd try they come up 2.5 and setting to 360p does not help.

I can open my Group called Perimeter and they all connect. I can also connect independently with no issues
Very vague from the OP, the updates changelog mentioned at least 2 things possibly 3 (I never took a screenshot), one of which was improved thumbnails.
A beta firmware changelog?
The firmware update popped up and listed the changes but I made the mistake of not copying surely as you are a Mod here would know this info.
No doubt someone will grab the info before updating and post here, I would be interest in the thumbnail mentioned but the usual vague security/bug fixes all companies give out including Google Play App update as sometime there is ninja changes not mentioned.
I have looked back and can see they also list improving thumbnail in the Sep update but I cannot see the Nov update so far.
Popped up where? On your phone/tablet while trying to access the cam? If so, I’m not sure how that is related to moderating a forum.
I’ve never seen a changelog for beta firmware via the app, only a notice that an update is available. Like this popup for the beta firmware addressed by this beta topic:

Google does not manage and distribute Wyze firmware. If the popup you are referring to is related to the Wyze app, you’re posting in the wrong topic.
I never said Google did so, I was comparing them to the same generic vague changelogs
Yes the pop up was to tell me their was an update, I can see the previous ones after the update but not the new one, it may appear later or after the next one.
How am I posting in the wrong forum, your topic is about the new Nov firmware (with the exact build number you posted) is it not?
The recent firmware update has resulted in the v4 no longer appearing in the tinyCam Monitor Pro app. Frustratingly, this means I now have to wait for them to release an app update.
There is no popup changelog for beta firmware. There never has been. Changes for beta firmware are listed only at the top of a beta forum announcement topic. A list of beta changes in a beta announcement are slim and vague to none. Lack of that critical info makes it difficult to know what we’re supposed to be testing. I don’t see that ever changing.
I think you are confusing me with the OP (Wyze). I’m just a beta tester. Wyze posted this topic and the build number in the 1st post, not me.
Agreed. The announcement from wyze listed only “Security updates”. Thinking risk was low and if 1 worked all 5 would work.

Just finished reinstalling 4 of the 5. Same issues. Taking a break then going to flash a couple back to PR. Meanwhile my non v4’s have been responding flawlessly.

Just wondering… I’m running the same phone model and app version as you. Are your Cam v4s grouped or standalone?

The first button is House Cams
That opens a group of 11 cameras that circle the perimeter and common area of the property. Below the groups there are individual listing for each camera in the group. The 5 v4’s are both in the group and listed individually.
Thank you for the quick reply. The reason I asked is that I’m not seeing the issue on the v4 that I loaded.
Do you see the same issue whether tapping a v4 in a group or tapping the same v4 in the individual cam listing?
