Since the last firmware update, my Wyze Cam v3 Pro on Cam Plus is now reporting numerous Complete Motion detected notifications. I have reduced the detection zone and turned the motion detection sensitivity down to 1, but nothing helps. I received 32 of these yesterday alone.
Can you post the following:
- Sample Event Video’s so the community can review and see what may be triggering it
- Android Wyze App Version you are using
- The Firmware Version installed. I know you say the latest, but always good to list
- If you have Detection Zones on, if so provide a screen shot of what that is as well
Do you have an SD Card in the camera? If so, why not set the notification for smart events and let the SD Card do continuous recording.

I’m hoping your last statement is the issue. My cameras do have SD cards set to continuous recording. This camera had a few customized events selected, but was now set to all events. I changed it back to Smart events, turned the detection zone back off, and turned the sensitivity back up to 40. Hopefully that will straighten it out.

That explains all the motion events. It’s possible that you might have changed the setting, or in rare cases, Wyze has inadvertently modified it. It does happen.
