Yeah, you could ditch the Beta RTSP app way back when app version 3.9 launched. It was no longer needed once it was added into the v3.9 public app.
But some people might enjoy having a second app on their phone for various purposes. For example, I keep a some with specific filters saved in the events tab so it just automatically shows a specific set of filters instantly without me having to constantly adjust them for different purposes. There are some other potential benefits too, but regardless, the extra app is no longer needed (and is actually inferior), you can uninstall it.
