Wyze Cam v3, Pan v3, v3 Pro & Pan v2 Firmware Beta Test 1/8/2026

Wyze Android beta app: 3.10.0 (b744)

Wyze Cam V3 with beta FW 4.36.16.5654

Cam V3 will still restart itself automatically when the internet is out for more than 30 minutes. Once the camera is restarted then it will start recording with the timestamp of 2025-12-22 21:18, but the footage is still in the MicroSD correct folder continuing where it left off. As a result, there should be no gap on the timeline in the Wyze app now, but the actual timestamp in the footage will be based on the firmware build date (Dec 22). I double checked again to make sure the footage is in its correct folder in the microSD.

When I powercycle the camera and while my internet is turned off to simulate power outage, the footage will continue to record to the latest known folder and continue where it was stopped previously. This is a new behaviour and IMO much better than before where it was based on the firmware build date.

This actually addresses a critical issue before which I mentioned previously below:

AFAIK, this issue is finally fixed based on my early testing. Good work. I didn’t have a chance to test this with RTSP setup yet so I don’t know if the above behaviour will change.
