Wyze cam v3 not showing continuous recording

Hello everyone, been a wyze user since 2019 and I believe ever since they updated the app and change the playback to SD card I can’t see continuous recording it’s got some recordings where certain things are checked off but most of the spaces for times are unavailable it says anybody else have this problem is there a fix? And yes I do have cam unlimited.

Checked? What does this mean? Post a picture of the timeline.

What I mean by checked is that icon that looks like a funnel where you can choose people, pets, vehicles and all that other stuff.

Here’s a screenshot The green bar at the bottom should be continued all the way to the left but it stops for some reason and I’ve checked my other v3 and some of them do that also and I was just wondering if anybody else had that problem. And they are wyze SD cards.

You are likely set for “Events Only” SD card recording. Go to Settings⇾ Micro SD Card, and make sure “Continuous” is set; it should be lighter in color. Post a screen grab if you can.

I believe you are already set for “Continuous,” but the earlier recordings aren’t there for some reason. Did you format the SD card?

I always use continuous recording, and no I did not format the SD card.

I’m going to format the cards maybe there was just glitch on it on some of the v3s I’ll let you know in a few days if I still have the problem.

If you can get the SD card out and mount on a desktop, it’s quite possible the camera lost connection (not power) and recorded using the wrong date. In that case, you’d find recorded clips but with the wrong dates.

Well I formatted the cards yesterday in the cameras that I was having problem with and everything is fine today. Thanks everybody.

Keep an eye on that problem card. It could be a sign it is about to die. Especially if it is not a High Endurance rated card.
