Updated 7 CPv3 cams yesterday and all have been working well on tablets and phones running Android 10 through 15 with Wyze app version 2.50.9 (512) and beta app version 3.8.0 (b706).

I continue to have issues with my panscan v3, constant disconnects, yet it still seems to be tracking, just cant connnect to it via the app or web. I have tried the following. Reset the device, connected to a different wifi network, made sure signal was very good, powered off and on multiple times(only way to get it to connect for a short while) Turned off the pan scan funtion as it seems to help a little bit. Moved the camera to a diiferent location, upgraded the app to the latest beta, updated the firmware twice, sent many logs. I have multiple wyce cams, some v3’s and and regular v4 they never go offline. Current device is iphone 15 running ios 26.0.1

I have 3 Pan V3’s, the signals on 2 are full, one has 2 bars from the app account settings, device info.

If you have similar signal strength, have you tried another power brick? Be aware they are 2 amp bricks not 1 amp like most stationary cams.

Might need a magnifying :magnifying_glass_tilted_left: glass to read them.

I can try that i am using the one that came with it, but i can see if i can find another

Im at a point now that i have it plugged into a smart plug so i can cycle the power on and off remotely

Do you have the original cable on it as well? If you’re using a longer cable, you definitely need more power. I had to go to a 3 amp power plug cuz when the motor kicks in it draws a lot of current!

That’s a good idea. I also have all of mine on Kasa plugs and Home Assistant automations handle a daily 1 minute off restart for all of them.

About 2 years now and nothing bad has happened because of it. Yet.

No drops unless AWS or some other Wyze issue or my Mesh Wi-Fi needs an occasional restart.

I actually have not had a power brick fail yet here, all 14 humming along. But it does happen.

Since the most recent updates, both firmware and app software, the sd playback no longer works on my pan cam v3’s. Hard to say what update started the problem. I have installed new high endurance sd cards, reset them, etc, …… with no luck. Was hoping the latest firmware update would make them work again. Please focus on this! They both worked fine and then they both don’t. All other models I have continue to work.

I have 1 Pan - v3. (4.50.15.5800). Playback is good to go.

App version v3.8.0 (b706).

Is your firmware at xxxxxx5800 or 4800?
