I would like to schedule my newly purchased Wyze CAM PAN to switch from pan mode to fixed mode and back (on my schedule) during any given days.
Is this possible and if so, how?
Unfortunately, scheduling the Pan Scan feature is not currently possible. Pan Scan and Track Motion are neither available for scheduling in settings nor are they accessible thru Rules. The only possibility right now is manually turning it on or off unless you get really creative with a third party macro app.
There are several
# requests asking for various flavors of scheduling as well as asking these to be added into rules. Follow the links, vote, like, and post to support them. wishlist
It would be nice to be able to control how long the camera stays in each position before panning to the next. Currently, it stays for 10 seconds, without any ability to adjust it. Individual settings for each stop would be nice
I think an awesome addition to the app controls for the Wyze Cam Pan would be to allow scheduled waypoints. For example, waypoint #1 is viewed between 9:00am and 5:00pm, then the camera pans to waypoint #2 and holds there between 5:00pm and 9:00am. If a time is not set, the scenes could continue to pan automatically as they would when Pan Scan is turned on, or just stay on the last set waypoint (the user could choose).
It would also be great to have the opportunity to setup scheduled waypoint…
For the pan:

Often it will follow the motion source, but the motion will stop for a few seconds and continue, but by then the camera has already returned home and cannot see the object anymore.
2. Ability to control the amount of travel that the pan uses when detecting motion- that is if it sees motion moving left on the screen it usua…
