Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 base station losing wifi connection

Each of the last three nights, my Wyze Cam Outdoor v2 base station has lost its wifi connection. The app shows it (and the two cameras) is offline. When I get to it, it has a blinking blue indicator (instead of solid blue). I unplug it and then plug it back in and everything is fine again until the next night. Nothing else on my LAN loses its wifi connection, only the base station. Nothing else on the same power strip with the base station loses power. The base station and cameras had been operating without issue for months until three nights ago. I am totally clueless as to what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Oddly, mine has been doing the same for the same time. I don’t know why it would appear offline when it is connected by wire to the router. One of my WCO is set to announce when it detects a person and it does this intermittently still. So it isn’t connected, but it still detects a person. I find this to be extremely strange. I have restarted the base station multiple times to no resolution.

Very interesting. Since yours is the first and only reply to my post, I was beginning to think that I had some odd and unique issue. I have tried changing everything I can think of, but it continues to happen every night. I reached out to Wyze, hoping to troubleshoot beyond the very basic troubleshooting suggestions on the web site, but apparently it is not worth it to them, as they simply opted to send me a replacement. Since nighttime is when I am most concerned about having those cameras working, that works for me, but it seems a shame that there is nothing else to even try.

I thought that there may be a server issue or something on their end so I held out before going into the forum to look. How old was yours? I left it unplugged from the power source and the wall for 24 hours after several restarts. No good.

Mine is six months old.
