I just purchased a Wyze Cam Outdoor and I’m temporarily using it indoors through a window (daytime).
I’ve noticed it doesn’t register events with the window closed. If I open the window, it registers fine through the screen.
Has anyone else experienced this?

The motion sensor in the Wyze Cam Outdoor (WCO) is a passive infared (PIR) sensor. The sensor uses infared light that a object emits. Infared light has trouble traveling through glass so that would explain the issue you are having. The WCO cannot pick up motion through glass. I hope this makes sense, I explained it the best I could.
