A question regarding the definition of the OG Telephoto camera. Is the definition of the telephoto camera the same as the 3x digital zoom of the OG or would your zoom be 3x optical?

The quality will be significantly better on the Telephoto when comparing to the OG at 3x zoom. Obviously the telephoto can’t be “zoomed out” though, it is fixed at 3x (you can then digital zoom in further).
Keep in mind the field of view is narrower because of that. I have one and it serves a particular purpose very well for me, others have found they don’t have a particular use case for them.
I guess you could use an OG with 3x digital zoom to get an idea of what area the Telephoto would cover and see if that will work for you.
