Wyze cam not showing up in router configuration

is the Wyze cam (V2) suppose to show up in the list of connections when i access my router configuration?

i see other connections (Echo Dots, tablets, Roku, etc.) but i do not see the Wyze cam connection.

I would expect so. All of mine do. That’s also where the camera gets it’s IP address from.

How do you know that the Wyze cameras aren’t there?

If you’re searching for anything that has “Wyze” or anything that looks like a camera, you won’t find it. Wyze does not properly label their entries. They use the MAC address to label their products.

Or you can search using its IP address. You can find the camera’s IP address from the app.

On my router once I match the MAC address I can label it
