WYZE Cam floodlight problems

I have had a Wyze Cam Floodlight on my house for over a year now and I was never able to adjust the time the light stays on. In fact, the floodlight never even shows on the app. I spent countless hours trying to figure this thing out with that useless chat bot and sending tickets to people that apparently one can never actually talk to. Yesterday I finally got an answer that my floodlight is not compatible with my 5g network. I was offered a gift card to use toward the purchase of a newer model. Today when I sent in the information I have it was denied, so now I am right back where I started. Wyze customer service is poor at best. It’s time to go to a different company for my home security needs. There must be one out there that actually cares about helping customers who buy their products.

do you have a Wyze Floodlight Pro? those are said to work with 5Ghz wifi. Good luck! I will say that Floodlight Pro is working awesome here you can set all kinds of stuff. I’m using them on a 2.4Ghz wifi.

Mine is the original Wyze Cam Floodlight, not the Pro. I’m just sick and tired of Wyze and their low quality products. When this company started out I had high hopes for a reasonably priced product that would last, but as time went on it seems they are making cameras that last for about a year and get thrown out. You can never speak to a live person on the phone, and most of the time you are stuck dealing with a chat bot. Then when you get a person on chat they promise things that they ultimately have no intention of delivering. I have quite a few of their products, but as they go they will be replaced with cameras from a different manufacturer. Wyze has gone backwards and they really don’t seem to care.
