I’ve had a Wyze Bridge with several contact sensors for a few years now. They have stopped working. I can’t connect the contact sensor to the Bridge any more. I’ve swapped out the camera that the bridge is plugged in to. I found and bought another Bridge off of eBay (since you can’t buy them from Wyze anymore) and tried that. The Bridge will go through the motions with “waiting to connect” voice but with various contact sensors (yes, new batteries) literally on top of the Bridge, they will NOT connect.
Wyze doesn’t seem to offer anything new like this without a Monitoring contract. I don’t need to be monitored. I already pay for Cam Plus for multiple cameras. Does anyone know what’s going on or am I out of luck? I use the sensor on my garage door and a couple of doors inside. My elderly mom lives with me and I’d like to know when a door hasn’t been fully closed ya know. So the doggies don’t get out by mistake. Help? Thx, JJ

Have all of your sensors stopped working or just a couple? I switched all of the V1 sensors over to the Wyze Hub. I have 1 contact sensor that will not connect to either the bridge or the hub. That is why I asked.
I just checked the Wyze site and you can buy just the hub and do not seem to need to get the monitoring service.
Yes, none of them will connect to the little bridge that plugs into the back of a V2 (?) camera. I’m not sure what the “hub” is…I have a “base station” for three outdoor cameras but that’s not the same thing. I’ll go back and check their website again. I couldn’t find anything that was similar in function but I must have missed that. Thx!
Thanks! I found it! I’ll give that a try I guess. I have a camera base station connected to my router (I never moved it to WIFI only) and this hub looks like it also needs to be connected? Anyway! Thanks again! JJ
