Can you connect 2 mesh router’s to the my xfiniti main router to cat5 in different locations? And have two additional satellite mesh routers and them all 4 working together?
I’m sorry. I don’t understand clearly what you are trying to do. But like me ask this way.
Are you trying to physically connect a second router downstream (so to speak) of your main router?
I am guessing, your Xfiniti router is not mesh, and you want larger coverage? If so, yes, that’s a way, but you should also be able to simply connect the mesh main to your cable modem.
I am again guessing, your Xfiniti is both cable modem with WiFi? So, yes, you can still connect the mesh to the Xfiniti. Couple of things you might want to do. Use a software app and identify the WiFi channel your Xfiniti is using, and change the mesh channel so they don’t bump into each other. Or simpler, go into the Xfiniti settings and turn off the Wifi, so there’s no Wifi to bump into/interfere with your mesh. Sure you can find the how to do that in Youtube. These days, everything is in Youtube.
