Where is the Wyze News thread about this new app version?

I received it today and it seems good so far. No new bugs anyway.

I remember reading on this thread that WyzeJasonJ posts updates on Apps and firmware. If Jason takes time off, sometimes the person filling in for him does not get notified of new releases.

Thanks for your comment on no new bugs. I am testing the new released App on my Samsung tablet before updating my other devices.

Let me see what they put out and why I do not know about it yet…may not have an answer until morning though.

App 3.23.2 (1001) is working well for me on all my Android devices. Not being offered to me yet on IOS. I only use basic Wyze features (Live View, Cloud Video playback and viewing SD card video).

Yes, that was a reply to one of my messages. To be brutally honest, I think that is piss poor and shows the utter lack of depth at WYZE. I do not blame Jason for taking a vacation and not knowing what is going on while he is on vacation. This complete lack of communication and transparency clearly falls on WYZE’s lack of SOPs and leadership. Just more PAR for the WYZE course.

I hear what you are saying and no arguments on your points. I can share some thought that might make using Wyze less frustrating for you.

As i mentioned above, my Samsung tablet is my least used and least critical device. I mainly use my Samsung tablet while my other devices are charging. I update the Wyze App on my Samsung to test. If the App is flakey, i wait before updating my Pixel 11 Pro or iPad Pro.

My inside garage Cam v3 is my least important Wyze camera. Mainly turned off in the App and i only use it for Live View to make sure my garage door remains shut. If Cloud or SD card video has problems it is not a big deal and i hold off updating my other v3 cameras.

This is how i make Wyze work for me.

I just wait and read all the complaints/issues :collision: here before updating anything. The new app is available on my iOS devices but has not yet been updated. All it says is “Bug Fixes”. Once you change the iOS app you can’t go back to an older version easily.

IOS App 3.23.2.0 is working fine for basic features (Live View, Cloud Video and SD card viewing). I never use more advanced features so i can not speak about those.
