Come wyze let’s just add support for the pixel tablet.
I tried that and it didn’t work. Said live video is unavailable.
Weird part is I have Samsung tab S8+ and the app is on the store and everything
I tried contacting wyze support for the side load url and they will NOT provide a url to download the apk. So not sure how you did that.

They can’t send you a url because it’s not “official”
I have to say it’s pretty disappointing to get the new Pixel tablet for our home automation hub and then find that the one app that doesn’t work is Wyze. Really hope you include support for this device and format soon.

I agree. Just got a pixel tablet 2023 and Google app store says it is not compatible. The Home app only give a live view but cannot access the SD card.
Please fix.
Just an FYI, you can also sideload the app on the Pixel Tablet. I did that and it has been working fine for me.

Ridiculous it has not been released on the play store for the tablet.
And the doorbell voip calling STILL does not work on Pixel phones.
I side loaded the Wyze App on the pixel tablet so that I can use it. But I would like an approved release.
As for the Doorbell, which doorbell are you using? I have the Doorbell pro and it rings my pixel phone. I use to have the non Pro and it worked as well.
When you turned on VoIP, you should ring the doorbell a couple of times with a pause in between. you should be prompted with a screen about using Wyze and you need to turn it on. You may have missed it as I have before.
To see if Wyze is listed as an account:
- Goto the Phone App
- Tap on the 3 dots at the top right
- Tap on Settings
- Scroll down and tap in Calling Accounts
See if Wyze is in the list.

Thanks but side loading is a work around. Not one that should have to be done. Certainly not 6 months later.
On the old pixel 3a running Android 12 the calling account was created. But since the Pixel 7 was released last year the account is not created. It may be related to Android 13 and newer.
I realize that, but just letting you know that you have an alternative until it becomes available.
The VoIP worked for me on my Pixel 5, 6, 7Pro, and my 8. All of which prompted me for the calling account. I used it on Android 13 and 14. Not sure about earlier versions.
Did you allow the Phone in the Permissions settings? Also, you may want to set Display over other apps to ensure the phone popup can be shown.
Yup, In the meantime had a look at the permissions and enabled phone though it was not needed previously if i recall.
Wyze now appears in phone > settings > calling accounts > all calling accounts, but was disabled. Toggle on. It now works. Even with the phone permission disabled.

Google Play store states Wyze app won’t work for 2023 Google Pixel tablet running Android 14.
App works fine on Google Pixel 8 Pro Phone running Android 14.
When will support for the app be added for the tablet?
