Recently (a few weeks ago) I stopped getting push notifications consistently from Wyze on my tablet. It has worked consistently for years with unchanged settings, and still works consistently on my phone with the same settings.
Now on the tablet I have to make sure that the Wyze app is always running in the background to receive notifications consistently. That was never necessary before. What changed?
Could be an OS update on the tablet, could be something in the app that has caused the OS to now put it to “sleep” - using a bit more RAM, has gone above some power threshold, etc.
This is how I run mine and have been for a long time, have not seen any impact on battery etc
