Here’s the issue. It appears that all events are stored in Wyze standard time - or maybe GMT, The displayed date and time are translated to your local time when you look at them. What this is looking like is that the date correctly translates, but the day of week is not translated correctly. So for example, someone in GMT will get the date listing correctly translated to their local time, but the day of the week is showing what it is in Seattle, Washington. Since 0001 GMT on Tuesday is 1601 Monday in Seattle, the day shows as Monday. At least that’s what it appears to be doing.
So far, every person who has reported this bug has been outside north America.
FWIW, I asked to have @J0R0’s topic merged into this one a couple of days ago and have also tried to get some more eyes on this. I haven’t been able to replicate it, but I’m also in North America, which is likely why I’m not seeing it. If I learn anything else, I’ll post back.
I am on PDT, and I just noticed that I am also having this glitch. When I look at my events, today is shown as Monday April 29, when it is currently Tuesday April 29. All cameras synched, cache cleared, no change. It’s not a huge deal I guess as the date stamp doesn’t show the day of the week anyway, just a bit confusing when doing a search through saved footage. Any official word from Wyze on this issue?
Here are a couple of quotes from an emaill dated April 17 from one of their “Wyze Wizards”.
“At this time, we are unable to confirm if the issue is with the app version itself. However, we humbly ask for your patience and understanding while our engineers investigate and work on the log you submitted.”
“In the meantime, keep an eye out for future app and firmware updates, as we normally include the fix in the updates.”
It’s not just outside North America, I’m in CDT Tim be zone, USA (Texas) and I’ve had the same problem for about a month, since about early April. I was hoping it would resolve itself, but the Events display thinks today, May 1, is Friday. (It’s Thursday, for future reference.) Time zone is set correctly, time is synced to network.

I just noticed an issue today, Saturday May 10th, (EST) displaying as Monday, May 10th, so 2 days off. Per some past posts I also tried clearing cache, hard closing app, restarting phone, and pulling down the large calendar, but considering it’s 2 days off, that’s not the time zone miscalculation that some suggested.
I actually had the police stop earlier this week to ask if I could check my video for something, but now I’ve realized I may have pulled up the wrong day.
