Wyze App date not corresponding with correct day

Hi there, last week, no idea why, in the events tab, the day is now incorrect but the date is correct. So at the moment in the picture attached my events calendar says Sat 13th April.

Syncing each camera, forcing the app to stop hasn’t worked in correcting the.

Any help welcome.

Looks fine on my Android Device.

Try Clearing Cache by doing this:

  • Start the App and go to the Account Menu Option
  • Select App Settings
  • Clear Cache
  • Shut the App Down by swiping up on Android OS

Then, since you are using Android

  • Long Press the Wyze App Icon
  • Select App Info
  • Select Storage or Storage and Cache
  • Clear Cache here (DO NOT CLEAR STORAGE)
  • Then do a Force Stop on the app
  • Restart your Phone
  • Then go back into the app and see if it has been corrected.

Question: Does your Phone Show Sunday the 13th? or Saturday the 13th, curious

My events log now says Monday the 15th, instead of Tuesday 15th of April.

The iOS app (3.4.0) has been strange for a while. I opened my app at 6:37 AM today 15 April 2025 and this is what it shows. I have to scroll to todays date or use the calendar.

What time zone are you in?

So based in Ireland, Grenich mean time.

Mine looks fine, the gang must be jamming your WiFi

:raccoon: Gang has been on vacation for a few days. Probably don’t want to pay their TAXES today.

The reason I asked about time zone is that maybe something changed and the day or date is assumed by the app to be Wyze time (US Pacific time zone). Just a wild guess…

Mine shows correct on both iOS and Android, but I am in the same time zone as Wyze.

I have the same problem and I am in Australian Eastern Standard time zone (GM + 10).

Maybe on to something…

Terry, is this also a new issue that previously worked correctly?

I believe it is a new issue, but can’t be sure. I only noticed it recently, after I added a Wyzecam V4. I have now taken this up with the Wyze support team.

Now that you mention it, mine worked correctly before, but I noticed it after I replaced a V3 camera. Hmmm!

I get this issue as well (in the UK) with a V4 and V3. Not sure when it started.

Have cleared the app and reinstalled it. Same thing.

It’s always a day ahead in the app.

I just ignore it now.

Hi, not sure when it started, but the events view in the Wyze app is not showing the correct day. It is always a day behind as shown in screenshot here

This image is from tuesday but date shows as monday. The actual events shown are from the correct day, only the day is behind.

Mine has been showing dates by a week off. Just tap the gray bar and go to the calendar, it’s easier.

My events page in the app is also wrong. Today is a wednesday, yet events for today are listed under tuesday.

This is not a single camera issue where ‘sync time’ will help. This is all events across all cameras when viewed via the events page.

When viewing playback on an individual camera, the dates are correct. In calendar view when selecting a date for playback on an individual camera, the dates are aligned under the correct ‘days’ .

So it is only events page that has the problem, not individual cameras.

Android 14

What time zone are you in?

I am in GMT +10,

However I cant see how that would effect which ‘day’ a given ‘date’ lands on. 1st of Jan 2025 was a Wednesday for the entire world.
