Sorry @WyzeJasonJ , but with the above “explanation” you just made it more confusing, unless I am that dense

Is this only applicable if you have smart modes?

Update 2: Oh wait, it works fine when my phone is in portrait mode, but when i rotate my phone to landscape to see the cameras better then it will time-out. :frowning:

Update 3: not sure what I did but it’s working … wait, it’s going to sleep on me now.
And no, i don’t have smart modes.

Thanks for the confirmation. Wish I remember what it looked like before lol.

I got a new iPad 9th gen this weekend. I loaded the Wyze app on it, latest version. Logged in, looking around, and the MONITORING tab won’t load , it just pulsates. I do not have a monitoring or cam unlimited subscription but it works fine on my iPhone. I’ve tried to force-close the app, and reboot the iPad, still same results. I tried to search for the issue, but didn’t find it anywhere else. It’s possible I missed it.

I bought a new iPad Pro a couple of months ago. I was happy that Apple has a new device setup feature that installs all of my old iPad Pro Apps on my new device.

This is how I got App version 2.50 (when 3.xx is the newest version) on my new iPad Pro.

Android has a similar feature. One can install existing apps on one mobile to another, remotely.

What I really like about Android is that I can log into Google Play Store in a browser on a PC and “push” apps from there to a phone. What I really do not like about doing it that way is that Google makes me authenticate every time instead of allowing me to verify my identity one time and then batch install apps from there to a mobile device.

@JamesT6, I don’t know if this applies to iOS or not, but I’ve had situations in the past when I’ve switched phones and done an app transfer (on Android, using a USB cable to connect the phones so that the apps and data I want on the new phone get copied there) and then had apps on the new phone fail until I uninstalled them and then re-installed them from Google Play Store. I didn’t see any mention that you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Wyze app on your new iPad, but I think that might be a reasonable next step.

No, everything else about the app works fine, as expected. It’s just the ‘monitoring’ tab won’t load. It loads on my phone, but not on the iPad where the app was just installed and signed into.

Update: signed out and back in, and its loading and working
