Just realized why all call were going to voice mail. Seems Wyze is Decling all calls even though I have not touched the screen, or the decline button. Have restored watch to factoy settings and still have the same issue. The watch is OFF not until I can find solution.
Welcome to the Forum, @scott-taylor!
Are you 100% certain that it’s the Watch and not a phone setting? If the Watch is completely shut down and not connected to the phone at all, then what happens if you get an incoming call? I’m wondering if it’s possible that you put your phone into Do Not Disturb mode or enabled some setting in the Phone app that’s doing this. Taking the Watch completely out of the loop (i.e., having the Watch powered completely down and maybe even turning off Bluetooth on the phone) might help to isolate the problem.
When I look at my call log on my phone I can see that the call was denied and it says it was denied via wyze.
I’m not able to replicate that in my call log by calling my phone and manually declining it with my Watch 47. When I look at the call history for that entry, I just see “Declined call” in the log. There’s no mention of how or what declined the call, even though I tapped on my Watch’s screen to do so (which sent it to voicemail). I’m using the default Phone app in Android 13 on a Pixel 4a.
If this is happening completely independent of the Watch (off and disconnected from the phone), then I’d be inclined to generate a log from the Wyze app and submit that the next time it happens, then follow it up by opening a Support ticket that references the Log ID. This one really has me puzzled.
I wanted to followup … when I try to go to settings its flashing do no disturb on and off on its own. When I go to timer it just starts on its own. When i HOLD the button I cant get it to go to restart/ turn off… I reset to factory today. I turned OFF noticiations as it started with those not turning off on the watch after displaying. NOW on a loop on the timer and wont let me get out…looking like I may have to get a new watch.
I appreciate the follow-up. Your description makes it seem like the issue is with the Watch hardware itself, especially if attempting a factory reset didn’t return the Watch to normal behavior irrespective of the phone call issue.
The last time I looked up Watch 47 on Wyze’s Web site, the site indicated that they were out of stock, and the product page indicated that all sales are final. I know they’ve made some statements in the past about possibly refocusing on their core camera products and getting away from some of their “lifestyle” products, so I suspect they’re discontinuing this product altogether if they haven’t already. That’s a shame, because I think it’s really a unique product in the marketplace, especially for people who are invested in the Wyze ecosystem, because the Watch gives the ability to launch Automations from a user’s wrist without pulling out the phone.
