Did they give you a reason to why they nixed you?

Too small, not enough green :moneybag:

Small shouldn’t matter, green on the other hand helps the government govern. Just like Wyze, no money no funny

busk

They used to let me come up and busk but not no more. They’ve got they’re own dam entertainers now.

You need to get rid of that fake passport and just tell them you are seeking asylum.

This native New Yorker sez I sing good. They should let me in just for that!

:notes: Asking only workman’s wages I come lookin’ for a job but I get no offers

My wife created a film called “Buskin’ Blues” and it won a ton of awards for covering this subject. If you like music documentaries, worth checking out.

sidle

To advance in an unobtrusive, furtive, or coy way.

“swindlers who sidle up to tourists.”

It’s good to be called out. It’s good to examine your behavior and motives. It’s good not to back down too quickly. But it’s good to back down if uncertain.

Adam: ‘
and another thing, honey

in propria persona

I became familiar with this term through internet commentary, not the legal profession. In my experience, it was used to distinguish between commenting anonymously (or semi-anonymously) versus commenting in your own true name.

When a group is mixed in this respect, it can be tricky.

Wow, I missed your joke at first, then Broke the word down into smaller words and it suddenly clicked as a homophone. That is a good one. I love that I missed the deeper implication at first (because at first I was thinking about the meaning of insinuate and not the homophonic sound meaning). :joy:
