I had forgotten about ‘King Zog’, but yes, my friend said Dad claimed a connection, took him to a couple ‘reunions’ or ‘conventions’ (I don’t think they were using ‘convening’ back in the day) at which my teenage friend was struck by how ‘weird’ his ‘relatives’ were, on the whole, both physically and behaviorally. (Don’t shoot the reporter.) He was half-Albanian, half-Irish and a Canadian citizen out of Toronto.
