Wish - notifications set to only push certain times of day

Hi, I came to add something to the wishlist, which I see is dead. I’ll put it here anyway in case there is a way to do this that I haven’t found.

I would like my cameras to send notifications about motion to my phone only at night. I live on a farm. There is constant action during the day, most of which I don’t care about. What I want is notifications about everything that prowls my fence lines and pens at NIGHT. When I wake up, I’d like to see a list of everything that happened overnight on all 6 cameras. Currently I only see night activity when I bother to go in and review manually with a thousand flicks of the finger every day/every camera until I get tired.

If I set notifications for all motion, the phone would never stop getting notifications. Every 5-10 seconds on each camera all day long. Not going to do that, so I keep notifications off.

This can be done by using an automation to turn notifications on and off at specific times, you can set it for all cameras or individual ones.

I’m puzzled by this comment:

What’s “dead”? One potentially relevant Wishlist topic I found is Schedule Notifications (separate from schedule event recording), but that seems to be a moot issue at this point because, as @dave27 indicated, you can already do this with Schedule Automations.

What have you tried so far? If you need assistance with Automations, feel free to ask.

You also can use Focus feature built into iPhone/iPad.

Is that something you can apply to individual apps? I don’t use iOS, so I’m unfamiliar with that feature and how it works.

Yes. I have a sleep focus that silents all apps except the ones I wanted. You could also setup other ways around: allow all except certain apps.
