not sure if there is a way but i have my wyze pan cam outside with sound detection on so that i know if and when my dog barks. lately its been windy. i get a lot of alerts and when i go and check it all i hear is the wind. is there a way for future development to filter out wind noise from triggering the sound detection?

Since Wyze Cams are not designed or approved for outdoor use, no, I don’t think so. You could try turning down the sound detection sensitivity to find a setting that detects barking but not wind.
Or you could try to shield the microphone on the camera. Audio pros recording outside use foam shields around their microphones to muffle wind sounds while letting other sounds through. You could try to stick a small piece of porous foam over the microphone hole.
sorry you are right these are not outdoor cams
