Could you please remove all the obstacle and hurdles a person has to navigate through if they choose not to subscribe to the cam plus service. I have sd cards in all my cameras which I thought would make them functional without the cam plus service. There are so many limitations restrictions that the camera funstionality is severley compromised. Had I know this was the siutuation (not advertised as such) I would have stayed with my Blink system. It would be great to get a reply as to why it seems Wyze goes way out of the way (in my opinion) to esentially force cam + in order to use the cameras. Right down to large banner promoting cam + on the web interface page.

This is almost criminal, at a minumum, highly misleading and unethical. One can only hope there is a class action lawsuit in the works

The only change I see is that the interface is new for the new cameras. For the old cameras, it seems the same.
Edit: The Wyze app user interface is very confusing but these issues usually appear here regularly.
They can. Use the View Playback button. uSD card recording is different on the battery powered cameras - see below.

One of many limitations to preserve battery life. In my opinion, the battery powered cameras are so crippled in order to preserve battery life, to the point of making them almost useless (with or without CamPlus). You could not GIVE me any of the Wyze battery powered cameras. On the other hand, I have over 40 operational Wyze wired cameras.
i feel the same. They fail to inform what you really need or even what you get with their subscriptions. 3 levels of just the Cam Plus! Cam Plus, Cam Plus Oro and Cam Plus Lite!

The App programers obviously dont accually use the App and they obviously have not had to figure out what to buy using their Store!
I was fine before i purchased my Wyze Cam Pan v3 and then the Lamp Sockets thinking thats what i needed. What a useless combination of products i have now.
New battery cam user and yeah not a fan of the crippling of device to drive cam plus sales. Like just give me cooldown and length setting on battery cam pro. Like continuous (get one day with a battery) or 12 seconds? No in between 12 seconds and all the time? Every cam has a different UI like on my iPhone for battery cam pro I can have a pip of my camera so can watch the cam while I’m in another app. But can’t do that for the doorbell video or OG or pan. I came back to Wyze from Ring to get rid of the subscription but seems Wyze is trying to make cams useless without one like Ring. Any recos for better brands?
