Why is the spotlight coming on?

I have two battery cam pros that in the settings bi have turned off the spotlight feature yet I’m out of town on a trip and I log into the web view and see both the lights on. I do not want the spotlight to come on ever, I just tried toggling it on and back off and reset the cameras. Not sure if that solved it but this needs to be figured out!

Does anyone else have access to the cams either via a guest account or by sharing your login?

The only other way I’ve seen to turn on the spotlight (when it is set to manual and not auto) is with an automation, have you checked to make sure you don’t have any of those configured?

I haven’t set anything up unless it is something on by default and I’m the only one with access

Strange. I suppose you could attempt doing “reset services” under settings, or maybe toggle it back to auto, remotely restart the cam, then toggle it back to manual, maybe the setting didn’t “take” for some reason?

To confirm what are the settings under spotlight - do you have it set to “manual” or is it “auto” but with both motion and sound disabled? I don’t have that particular cam so I’m guessing it is similar to the ones I have but may not be right. Maybe a screen shot of your settings? I’d recommend setting it to “manual” rather than just disabling the two types of “auto”.
