White speck rocketing everynight

Hi,

I just recently bought a version 2 wyze cam and the pan cam for my new home. I set up my v2 cam in the garage and my pan cam in my living room. I had everything configured to detect motion at night time. I am amazed by how clear the video quality of the camera as well as the motion detection.

So I am just wondering if this is a dust, bug or a spirit. This has been happening for 5 nights already and it usually happens between 10pm to 3am.

Can somebody explain this.

Couldn’t log into the first, but from the second I’d say dust speck or bug.

The solution is to turn down sensitivity. All the way if necessary. From the looks of things, whatever enters that view will take up a large part of the screen, so should be no problem.

A bug Or maybe water dripping

I posted another video. Check it out.

I dont think this is a dust or a bug. It flies fast and in a zigzag motion.

Also it happens everyday at same time range which is 10pm-3am.

I saw other videos like this. I am just wondering why these specks are coming out.

That one looks like a bug to me, wings and all. Most bugs don’t fly straight (but neither do dust particles for that matter).

Most of this nighttime activity is due to reflection of the IR lights. Most of these things you don’t see during the day.
