I know USB only is good for about 16ft (3 meters) at best for data, but I see there are USB power only cords that go out 25ft. Will this give too much voltage drop to run a Wyse Cam?
Your mileage will vary depending on quality, gauge used, aluminum vs copper etc. I am using 2 cheap 25ft cords I bought from Amazon. One is outside with staples through it etc, the other is inside. Both were first put in last February and so far no issues with either one.
The outside one runs my Pan camera, inside is attached to a V2 which in turn is daisy chained to another V2 using the cord that comes with them.

Im running numerous 16 footers…if you get to big and have connectivity issues or others, bump up the power on the power plugin
