What Wyze Cam could sound an Alarm to ward off Intruders when they approach.
Most of them can. My OGs, OG TEL, Panv3s, and v4 all can do it. I’m guessing all of the currently available models probably have the option.
They also have the ability to just say something like “you are being recorded” if you don’t want the loud alarm.
If you don’t need a battery powered cam or pan/tilt ability, then the v4 is a very good cam for the price and has both the siren and announcement features. It also has a spotlight built in which can turn on with motion at times you specify, which is also a very good deterrent.
That’s odd because I’m not finding it in the Wyze app anywhere and also I was told it does not do that. I could only send the alarm when I want to, but when the intruder intruder causes near my front porch I just get the announcement that you’re being recorded. Can you take a screenshot of the option to do this in the settings? I’d appreciate that.

For an automated siren, it is done under automations, lots of options for stuff you can do in there.
The “you are being recorded” is under the settings for each cam.
