What happened to “Detections” accuracy!?!?

My cams no longer detect PETS and PARKED vehicles are constantly showing up in “motion” detections.
Constant tree waving showing up as Vehicle now.
The detection labels used to be really good and pretty darn accurate- now hardly any are working accurately!?!? What happened? (This my 1st time in the forum- maybe I’m not aware of changes or updates being made???) Thx

Mine are still detecting my pets, but I’ve been getting excessively sensitive sound detections within the last few weeks.

I think they posted a new AI training update and it’s messed with some detections. Hopefully we’ll get a fix.

@carverofchoice,

I agree. Last week or so my doorbell v2 has been going bonkers with false positive package detection. For months this was reliable with false positive everyweek or so. Now it’s two or three an hour.

Im still guessing that wyze may have been integrating the new “pro AI” with the existing “AI”. Someone may have done a big whoops.

If a fix isn’t coming then I feel a year was wasted training AI. I’m going to hold off any further submissions to Wyze until I determine if I’m wasting my time.

Hey thanks very much for your response and info! This was my 1st time using the forum and I’m glad to hear that it’s just not me that’s noticed a huge difference - not in the right direction!
Hopefully they will figure it out and it will improve to be even better than it was :pray:.
In the mean time I am hitting the “Yes” prompt to help improve their AI performance numerous times daily. Thx again for your reply! :+1:t3::facepunch:t4::smiley:

Thank you for your reply! I have a little place in a gated campo in Baja with several campo dogs and cats that everyone takes care of - they roam day and night around our campo. I used to have tons of “Pet” detection videos every day so I could check on them. Now it’s down an only a few “pet” detections daily. I now have tons of “vehicle” detection videos- 99% are from a parked car which should not even be a motion “detection”!
But when I review the videos, over half are actually “pets”; the other 50% are “tree leaves waving” or really nothing.
