Weird Recordings after midnight

Hi…
For a very long time now, I have been getting these weird recordings almost every single night after 1:30 AM… As you can see from the video I uploaded, this happens on the 2 outdoor cameras. I can’t tell what it is and I am very curious as to why it always happens after 1:30 am.

Most of the time you can hear a short beep along with a green scrambled image. Has anyone else seen this? - any ideas?

Hey Mac, I’ll venture a guess.

At 1:31a, your local power grid switches generators (?) which causes a momentary surge which makes the light slightly brighter which triggers the cam to begin switching from night mode to day mode but not sustained enough to actually get it to switch. A “failed mode switch” if you will.

It is definitely either that or something else. :wink:
