Install Firefox. 
Try another browser. I do use Brave but the Wyze site does have issues.
I opted into Cam Plus Lite, but as others have pointed out, it doesn’t work. I don’t get any people notifications. And if I try to enable “Person Detection”, I get pushed to subscribe to Cam Plus instead. Wyze’s app is getting confusing where you set what. Under my account, it shows my cameras enabled for Cam Plus Lite, but it doesn’t work. I should note that my v3’s have the RTSP firmware. Is this not supported on the RTSP firmware?

Same…I signed up for Lite and I cannot enable Person Detection without subbing to Cam +.
Has any of the Wyze mods popped in to give their customers a “hey, we are aware of this issue and are investigating”?

You will still be able to jump from the thumbnail to that point on the SD card
The amount is a fixed monthly amount of whatever you decide, per account NOT per camera

Question: Does this mean the 2 week 12 second FREE event view will be removed??? I have 20 cameras & some scummy neighbors who like to destroy property… that event cloud I was able to pinpoint which person & time & use it in court as evidence… are we now losing the ability to access the ability to pinpoint when something happened (even a random dog who craps on your lawn) & save it to the phone or upload it to youtube/twitter/google docs to save for court or just to show the PD when they arrive to see the video??? does this mean after Feb 15th we will now be required to go through each camera & view the enire 24 hr footage captured on the SD cards??? please tell me that is not the case…
If you opt in to the"Lite" tier for $0, then no.
If you don’t opt in (or already have legacy PD or CamPlus), then yes.
But you could still get it back for $0.

It makes us sad to say, but some good things must come to an end. After almost 5 amazing years, we’ll be retiring Wyze Cam v1 on February 1, 2022 as it can no longer support a necessary security update.
You can still use your Wyze Cam v1 after this date,* but as our End-of-Life policy states, Wyze will no longer sell, improve, or maintain Wyze Cam v1.

So, there is no forced firmware update, and there is no forced app update for older Android models and V1 people can still go about normal life?
P.S, 5 years helping Wyze, should have been a bit more than $3 for helping Wyze spread the word. Like offer a V3 at 50% off + a tip if people want to pay more.
Wow, was almost going to correct that “e” until I realized how the patch is applied. Sorry folks; these posts are still multiplying.
We don’t recommend this as there could be security implications, but Wyze Cam v1 owners will still be able to continue using their cameras and they will continue to work in the Wyze app. Any changes that affect the full Wyze ecosystem will still affect users with Wyze Cam v1, such as required app updates and etc. Just keep in mind that we can’t guarantee stability, support, or security on these devices in the future as the Wyze app and our backend continue to grow and change.
One of those changes is the cloud storage change - we took extra care to make sure that you had a way to keep your cloud storage in Cam Plus Lite if you continue to use your v1. So make sure to add your v1s to Cam Plus Lite if you need cloud video storage when you continue using them!
