Am using the latest WCO firmware (base and cam) and Wyze app (iOS). In detection settings, there are now settings for both detection area (grid, like my v2’s) and the PIR effective area (the large green rectangle). What is the purpose of each and which has precedence? Thanks.

I believe the PIR takes precidence. If the PIR is triggered AND there is pixel change in the specified area you get a video. I don’t think the camera can record a video if the trigger happens outside the PIR detection range even if you have that area selected.
