I assumed that the new Detection Zone on the WCO works like my V2. It does, but only after movement in the PIR Area wakes the WCO up.
Initially I pointed the camera south, towards oncoming traffic, thinking the new Detection Zone would be tied into waking the cam up. Most movement went through the PIR Area too quickly for a clip to be saved. The Detection Zone would continue detecting movement.
After a few days I adjusted the cam to face east, so the PIR Area covers south to north. Now the cam captures movement consistently.
All that being said, my battery drain rate is around 4% a day. Was about 2% until the weather turned cold.
