I’m hoping I do not have to buy a new thermostat. I’ve had the wyze thermostat installed for about a year and a half now. It performed with no issues up until recently. About a week ago I had noticed that the display would not light up and the thermostat was non-responsive. I just had a HVAC technician come out and after some troubleshooting, he told me that everything was working but my wyze thermostat. He had a spare thermostat by Honeywell in his truck and installed it. Everything worked fine, proving it was the wyze thermostat that was that issue.
Do I have any options available to me? I’m beyond the one year warranty, but for it to just up and die for no apparent reason irks me.
