These cameras are trash, can’t even go back to look at stuff that happened over night without it getting stuck in a loading status. What a waste of money!
Trash the Wyze crap and get another brand…
Tapo, Eufy or Reolink don’t require a subscription

I had two Cam v3 cameras that needed power cycling yesterday. Wyze cameras seem to require power cycling more frequently than some other brands.
Yup, my life with WYZE camera
My life with WYZE cameras improved significantly when I bought WiFi plugs and setup schedules to power my cameras off for a full 5-minutes every day. I have the schedules setup mostly in series such that no more than 2 cameras are without power at a give time. On top of that, they all get restarted twice per-day via automation routines.
I just Power Cycle when I think about it or when my v3s act flakey. Nothing “Mission Critical” happens around my house so I use cameras as a Security Hobby.
Mine are set to reboot via an automation every sunday morning. Haven’t had one go unresponsive yet. Hardly ever get actual power cycled and that’s typically when the power goes out (rare) or if I need to remove an SD card or somthing.
