Would be great if I could go to my SD card right from viewing “recent events” page. I can do it on all of my other cameras, so why is that ability not there under “recent events.” I don’t understand why that ability is not there. As is, ya have to mark the time the event occured, click on “go live”, back out of the page, click on sd card, & search for the event.

I don’t even have a playback button on my Pan 3 when viewing video from the recent events page.
I did look today on my android tablet & see that I’m able, from android wyze app, to go to the sd card & view (from the recent events) the video playback on the sd card.
On my apple devices, I only have options in the menu to download, share or delete the clip (as seen on pics).
However, on my android, I DO have the options in the menu to go to the sd card, download, share & delete.
So why is that option (button), to view the sd card, on the apple app recent events menu?! They need to add the button on the apple app so we don’t have to note the time the event occured, then having to have to back out of viewing events page, & then click on SD card, & search for the event, & then play it.
I only have see this lack of view the sd card button from the recent events page on Cam Pan v3 & on the apple app.
Unfortunately, Wyze isn’t consistent with the app UI. For cam pan V3, the button is labelled, “SD Card” and not, “Playback”. And yes, they are functionally identical.
There is the “old” User interface and the “new” User Interface. All the cameras released prior to a couple years ago use the old UI and the recent cameras use the new UI. So far none of the older cameras have been migrated to the new UI (could change, but I’m not expecting that). So yes, there are two UIs that have some differences. Personally I prefer the older UI…
I know that, I have cameras for the new and old, but that’s not what I mean by consistency. They should have at least used the same button labels, even if they changed the icons. “Playback” has no context. For a beginner, that can mean cloud or SD playback.
