Video shows up a day late

I look every night to see if the camera In my bluebird house shows a visitor. Sometimes I look at night and no visitor but the next day it shows I had a visitor the day before. Why the lag?

Seems it is an ongoing problem with Wyze, notifications anywhere from several seconds to many hours.

And even incorrect notifications too

Got this notification at almost 1 AM from actual event at almost 9 PM.

Notice it says Vehicle, but clicking on it brought up a person & vehicle detections but No Vehicle is there.

Wyze is just Junk as far as cams and services.
You get what you pay for…

You should put up a cam in your bedroom to see if you might be muttering ‘Wyze is pretty good on the whole’ in your sleep.

Prob’ly not but ya never know.

Now you know better than that, No Wyze Spy Cams in living areas…

Almost All cams are outside, and in the barn.

One cam in the mud room that’s never on while home, controlled by the alarm panel when armed away only.

Yes I do. Sorry.

Pleasant dreams.

That is scary. All my cams are external.

Not sure why delivery is so slow. Maybe trying to sell first-class delivery with cam+?

This was a HUGE thing a year or two ago. I thought since the complaint had pretty well subsided here it was no longer an issue…

I think I know a few things (dangerous!)

Your experience may depend somewhat on:

  • Your particular cam model - some are better than others.
  • Google - a notifications intermediary on Android
  • Possibly Amazon AWS cloud (also an intermediary in some sense?)
  • Undoubtedly other things but now I’m tired. :weary:
